Seasonal Rates

Summer Rates are in effect for the months of June – August.

WWVREMC’s power prices are tied to costs associated with meeting demand during traditional periods of high summer and winter usage.

Members can use their SmartHub account to monitor their energy use and make payments.

Saving energy doesn’t have to be hard! Small changes to your daily habits can help you manage home energy use.

Did you know the combined use of large appliances like dishwashers, clothes dryers and washing machines account for the largest percentage of electricity use in the average U.S. home? Take small steps to save energy when using these appliances.

  • Only run full loads in the dishwasher, and thoroughly scrape food from dishes before loading.
  • Dry towels and heavier cottons separate from lighter-weight clothing (or use a clothesline), and clean the lint screen after every use.
  • Wash clothing in cold water to save energy used to heat water.

Budget Billing

Equalize your monthly bill by paying the same amount each month. Budget accounts are recalculated annually. Budget billing is available to members who have been at the same location for at least 12 months. Contact the office to have your account set up on budget billing.
