Renewable Energy

Hoosier Energy adopted a Renewable Energy Policy in 2006, establishing goals to increase the share of renewable energy in its power supply portfolio. Hoosier Energy also provides assistance to member cooperatives developing renewable energy projects in their territories.  Click the link to see output of the Cope Environmental Center Solar installation completed in 2017.  Cope is a member of WWVREMC and the cooperative used a $25,000 renewable energy grant from Hoosier Energy to assist the Center with expenses of the small scale renewable project.
