Rebate - Commercial & Industrial

Whitewater Valley REMC has suspended the following programs until further notice.  Why?  The C&I Incentive Program has exhausted all funds for the 2017 budget year due to the success of the program! The program should be back in 2018 - please contact with any questions regarding a C&I application.

There are no requirements on size of facility, number of employees, or energy consumption. This program is administered by Hoosier Energy on behalf of each cooperative. Applications are submitted to or faxed to 888-455-9291.

Prescriptive Incentives - Suspended

Prescriptive measures include:
–Lighting (primarily florescent and LED lighting)
–Motors (>10hp, three phase)
–HVAC (single and three phase)

Custom Incentives - Suspended

•Energy efficient improvements not covered by the prescriptive program will be considered for rebates on a custom basis
•Compressed air upgrades are considered custom with specific application forms
•Contact the C&I Program Coordinator or your Hoosier Energy Key Account Manager for more information

New Construction Incentives - Suspended

•Equipment rebates for newly constructed buildings (addition of new equipment in existing buildings uses prescriptive program)
•Prescriptive rebates are limited to LED lighting and controls – rebate amounts are different than prescriptive program for retrofit projects
•HVAC rebates are negotiated on an individual basis
•Contact the C&I Program Coordinator or your Hoosier Energy Key Account Manager for more information

Direct Install Program - Suspended

•Exclusively for small businesses
•Hoosier Energy or member system Energy Advisor recommends measures and project specifics
•Equipment and installation funded by member system is reimbursed by Hoosier Energy
•Business owner pays a small percentage of the project costs
